I'm right with you ladies - My family was a meat and potatoes and grease family. It's is very difficult for me to comprehend the fact that we IBS people don't eat steak and roast and grease french fries. Keep in mind I had a VIP card at Burger King (No kidding). So I am having a little trouble.

But I find that if I eat everything according to the IBS book all day - I am able to treat myself with a Mickey D's burger every now and then.

I have been on the diet for 3 weeks and had my first burger from there last night since I started the diet. I had a huge bowl of oatmeal first and then I never even got sick after that burger.

But really lets be honest people - I don't think that Mickey D's burger are real meat anyways - no matter what they claim. haha. And the IBS book never said "Lay off all food that resembles muck and comes in a 5 gallon pail"
