From what I've been reading on these boards, everyone suggests getting all the tests that you can to rule out things and to know exactly what you might be facing. That's why I took the plunge and contacted a GI. My very first colonoscopy is scheduled for July 14. I am hoping to get a firm diagnosis on my IBS. It never hurts to be sure!
