Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

I made a safe dinner of BBQ chicken and buns and veggie. I also made my fav...coleslaw with diced apple in it. I had just a little of it after I ate my dinner. I was hoping that it would not bother me BUT... it did. My tummy looks like I am about 9 months pregnant with triplets....and it hurts. I know that I have only myself to blame for it, so I shouldn't whine. I have tried to be good for the last several weeks or so....since my back has bothered me from Oct/03 it has also made my tummy hurt whether I eat safe or not. So I basically ate what I wanted to with in reason. Dairy usually kills me so I don't touch it. I would have the odd very small piece of steak or a couple cookies and I would just bloat. Now that I have been eating safe my D has come back with a vengence. I didnt get D when I would cheat before. I cant take imodium because it makes me constipated and then I feel worse. I would rather have the D. I will stop whining now. Thanks for letting ramble on. Gail
