Reflux or gerd from ibs???       06/21/04 01:45 PM Edit Reply Quote roanra Reged: 03/19/03 Posts: 5 I have ibs attacks from time to time and think there might be a connection to getting gerd or reflux symptoms when my ibs flares up. Right now I have a feeeling that there is a "lump" in my throat and food is getting stuck. If I eat for IBS the foods seem to be a trigger for gerd. I don't have heartburn but the feeling of the food backing up and not digesting. It's like a "ping pong" game of fix one problem and get another. Anyone else get this problem?
