Gall Bladder       05/01/03 06:11 PM Edit Reply Quote CAG Reged: 04/22/03 Posts: 1 Loc: Sydney, Australia Hi there, My name is Carole Gow, I'm 59 years old and have had my gall bladder removed about 2 years ago. My husband and I purchased your IBS books and follow your advice etc. On page 3 you mention problems with bile in the stomach after gall bladder removal. Since the I have been suffering with bloated stomach, nausea, pain, heartburn and feeling unwell for up to 2 hours after eating main meals and breakfast. I also suffer nausea after bowel movements and will allternate from constipation, loose and back to normal. I have just had an Endoscopy and Colonoscopy and all that was found was that the lining of my stomach was inflamed. the Gastroenterologist could only advise me to take Metamucil daily and Motilium tablets as necessary. I asked about bile in the stomach and he said that it was possible but very rare. Do you have any further iformation on this or know where I may be able to obtain it. Any advice will be appreciated.
