Welcome to the boards! I totally understand the D thing. Soluble fibre is your friend. Here's a bunch of links that will help you puzzle things out. In the meantime, feel free to post, vent, hit the search button for previous topics.

Have you tried peppermint tea? It works wonders - truly. Lots of strong peppermint can ease the cramping and spasms that go with D. I have actually had a D attack STOP because I drank peppermint tea. It's that much of a miracle drug.
I would also suggest that you consider a fibre supplement - I know this is a lot at once, but it truly makes a difference. Fibre supplements help D too.
Take care of yourself, and go buy some peppermint tea.
