Re: Frustrated and a bit confused?!       06/16/04 08:46 AM Edit Reply Quote PammySue Reged: 05/12/04 Posts: 54 Loc: Southern Indiana I have IBS-A and my GI gave me a prescription for Rubinol Forte which helps control the stomach spasms and diarrhea. Then he prescribed Benefiber to help with the constipation. This seems to be working and I have had normal bowel movements for the last two weeks that I have used this combination. I have had success with several other prescriptions also. I would talk to the GI about medications and fiber supplements that will help you break the constipation-diarrhea cycle. Hang in there.
