I entered this once but did not see it on the board so will try again. I am going to the doctor in an hour and have my list of questions. Have had ibs for 25 years but have not experienced an attack as long as this one I am having now which has been for 4 months. I am C and cannot have a bm
without enemas or lax. Doesn't matter how much water, foods,exercise, etc. No paristalis action. I have been of Heather's diet for about 2 1/2 months and am up to 2tbsp. of acacia. Some better but when I try to add unsoluble fiber I am worse. If I eat rice, chicken and noodles I seem to be much better but I know that is not healthy. Anyway, I am going to ask for another colonoscopy, parasite testing, hormone test, blood test. Can anyone think of anything else I should ask. I have a list of meds that you all have tried and I will run that by him also. Thanks for your help, you guys are awesome.
