Has anyone else tried taking fish oil pills and had a bad reaction to them? I have been reading up on the Omega-3 (fish oil) pills and have read that not only are they good for the heart and cholesterol but also good for the intestinal tract. There recommened to some patients with Chrohns disease. Well my fiance has been taking them for awhile and feels the best he's felt in the longest time (he has high blood pressure), so I took one yesterday morning. Well about 10 minutes later I got this bad cramping then the diarhea. I attempted to make it to work but only got about 5 minutes from home and had to turn back because the symptoms came back. So yesterday I called in sick from work and spent the day on the couch. I kept have these god awful burps that tasted like salmon (gross!). Luckily today I'm fine and back to what I've come to accept as normal. But I was coureous if anyone else had the same thing happen?
