There is a prescription strength for Aleve, I used to take it years ago before I went on the pill (Loestrin), can't remember the name. It could be hard on your stomach, I was fine. I am only mentioning the prescription strength because with the health insurance I have it is cheaper to get a prescription than over the counter meds. I have stuck with Loestrin, I think it is high in the hormone category, but nothing else seems to work for me. Oh and just a side note I was told by the nurse that when you switch around birth control pills be careful with sex for the first pack of new pills. Of course this is the same nurse who told me this after the fact (I did not become pregnate) so take this information for whatever it is worth.
