I totally believe you can bring it on that way. When mine began at 22, I had just begun teaching and it was extremely stressful. I taught for 17 years, and about five years ago, I had the class from hell. Guess what? The IBS kicked within a couple of months. I got better, but this year I began a new job as a librarian. I LOVE MY JOB, but it was learning lots of new things and not feeling confident that caused the stress and anxiety. Even positive anxiety will bring on an attack for me! I can get excited about going to a party or on vacation, and mine will kick in. The food part then just aggravates it from there!
