Who here suffers from hemorrhoids?       04/16/04 12:42 PM Edit Reply Quote Tootsie Reged: 12/03/03 Posts: 34 Loc: Vancouver, Canada I figured it's okay to ask this since there's probably a strong relation between IBS and hemmies. Who suffers and what do you do to get over them? I had a hemorrhoidectomy last fall and am petrified of going down that road again (not good for the IBS). I have some external ones, plus I think my postoperative area is swelling, or I have new ones forming? How long does it usually take for them to settle down. I have tried Prep h, htdrocortisone, baths, witch hazel. Which works best? It doesn't help when my IBS is flaring up either. Shesh! Thanks in advance. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
