h-pylori       04/02/04 12:20 PM Edit Reply Quote jaded Reged: 04/02/04 Posts: 7 Loc: DC Metro Area Hi, I am new to the board. I've had iBS-like symptoms for the last 5 years, but never technically diagnosed. I went to doctor recently and I tested positive for h-pylori bacteria which has been linked to ulcer. I still believe that I have IBS in addition to h-pylori. I've been taking antibiotics as perscribed, but my IBS symptoms are in full force and making me miserable. I am wondering if the meds are hurting me more than helping me (they are supposed to kill off good bacteria with the bad). Has anyone here been tested for both h-pylori and IBS?
