Welcome! As many others have said i think it's great that you found this site and can post now. i also got ibs when i was really young - i've had tummy troubles since i can remember back to when i was in grade school. i wasn't officially diagnosed until a few years ago and they didn't do all the tests usually done but i had been struggling for years by then with ibs. i am now 35 and have just found this site and heather's resources. i agree with everyone who said that it's great that you have found out what the problem is and and that you found us! to help out.
