If you need any help trying to get your iron up, I'd be glad to try to help. I tried to give blood back in October and was deferred for low iron. I worked at it and was able to give on 3/17 (Yay! It was my first time, and I was so happy!).
Anyway, I found a women's vitamin with 150% iron. I take this with either cranberry juice or OJ after my breakfast - Vitamin C helps to absorb the iron. I also used this info, web page, to help me figure out how to adjust my diet to get more iron.
