OH, I JUST went though this! Over the last 10-12 years I have been on various anti-depressants but I don't think Remeron was one of them. I have always had a terrible time with it! This past month I stopped Lexapro, that was probably the hardest one. I did tapper slowly but had the worlds worst headache for over 2 weeks. Just this past Friday morning I went to my drs, without an appt, I just showed up, and was having a panic attack. They gave me some Xanax to help me get it under control. the panic attack has abadated but I'm having a really hard time.
I agree with the other post, if you feel you are ready, just go SLOW! You may get some side effects but they usually do go away if you can stick it out. Good luck.
