I just want to say THANK YOU so much for responding. Your responses made me feel a LOT better. Thank God for this message board! I wish I could find a different GI - but I live in a small area and there is only one group of them (which is the group I've been going to). They were going to send me to Chicago for moa second opinion, but I can't afford it right now. And since I researched IBS myself, I feel much better knowing what I have.
I will try everything you all said. I did buy Heather's recipe book! I'm just scared to use it yet. Maybe in a week or so.
I'm doing good on the diet - but I don't know if I can give up sugar completely! I live for sugar. I don't even care that much about chocolate, but SUGAR?!?!
Anyways - thank you so much. I really appreciate it. This board has made me feel SO much better in the past week!
