I feel SO much better when I exercise! I can't explain how or why, but I'm betting it's part endorphins, part getting the blood moving and the body warm, and part doing sit ups that force air and poop(!) out the back door.
I've decided to do SELF Magazine's 2004 Challenge and I aim to do 30 mins of cardio 3x/week, 15 mins of abs 2/x and 20 minutes of weights 2x/week. I have an incredibly supportive fiance who gets on my butt if we don't work out (we always workout together). I think that he know that if I don't exercise, then two things will happen: 1. I feel bad, tummy-wise, and I will not attempt any sort of nookie :-P, and, 2.) When I don't work out I feel bad about my body, and that just sucks and puts me in a bad mood. Which in turn obviously affects our relationship.
Though I may be in physical pain, I must work out. I stair step for 30 minutes at least four times a week. That's the least amount of exercise I get per week. I have to or I'd go insane.
HTH!
