Actually, I never thought it was stressful planning the wedding.It was a small wedding. Maybe my body thought it was. the only thing I thought that triggered it was the chicken dish I had for the dinner. We had a few choices to pick from the menu and I had chichen. With me being the only one having this dish I believe I had Salmonella poisoning. Can't prove it though. For that whole weekend I slept and when had to, ran to the bathroom. Tried to go back to work the Monday but called into work telling them I had the flu.Of course they thought differently, with just being married and all. Anyways fought this for a week (thinking flu) then finally went to Emerg;only to be told (not from my DR.) that it was stress and to take Zoloft. This only made the diarehhea worse(zoloft).Seen my own Dr. Told me to stop the zoloft and ran tests on me. Lactose Intolerant;yes, celiac,no; IBS, yes. Within 7 months I had to quit my job. 2 yrs later finally able to work part-time.Last 5 yrs living with IBS/D/ U.C. Today, living a pretty well full life;able to do things socially; eat with the aid of Heather's diet and trying very hard to live each day to its fullest!! Yes its been a rough road but it does get smoother!! Sorry for the long post. Take care. Sue
