Metamucil is the one most likely to cause gas and bloating. Everyone is very different when it comes to the type of soluble fiber supplement that works for him/her. Here's more info on soluble fiber supplements: web page
As for the pregnancy - haven't been down that road - yet! But, there have been plenty of others around here who have. You can either do a search, or I'm sure someone who is/was will jump in to give you some advice.
