I have seen 3 naturalpaths and a dietician (who has IBS her self) and all 4 of them have advised me to stay away from anything containing sugar and wheat. I used to eat normal wheat prodcuts such as bread, cakes, cookies, pasta;s etc. But now i shop at a natural health food store. My mum buys me spelt bread and spelt bagels and they seem to agree fine with my stomach. I also eat kamut bagels. So basically i replaced regualr bread with wheat in it to spelt and kamut bread. this seems to work fine with me! you can also go to your local grocery store and get special pasta. Instead of wheat its made with rice flour. I know it sounds grose but you actually cant taste any difference. well i hope this helps you out and i hope you are able to find something that settles well with your stomach. reply back sometimes and let me know if you have found anything that works.
