Pneumatic bronchitus, prednisone, and weight gain       03/14/04 06:42 PM Edit Reply Quote Snow for Sarala Reged: 03/12/03 Posts: 5430 Loc: West Coast, USA I've been having a rough go of it. Got pretty sick a couple of weeks back with pneumatic bronchitus. I'm on prednisone, gaining tons of weight, depressed a bit, and starting a new job. There's just so much going on with me right now... I'm sorry I haven't been here on the boards much. I've been spending my time eating (dairy is all I crave...probably due to a lack of calcium absorption from the prednisone...I also am craving lots of brocolli), trying to organize my home, and make a living. I'm trying to be upbeat. Most of the time I'm pretty good at it...sometimes I crack. I feel like I'm in a daze a lot. I think it's the medication. I hope I will be back to myself soon. PLEASE forgive me for being away...and please don't worry about me. I'll be ok soon... I hope everyone is doing great...I miss you all lots! I will be off prednison in 11 days I think...so hopefully I'll be back to myself then. Love, Ruchie P.S.
