I would try avoiding the carbonated drinks...although that can be difficult. My favorite drink used to be rye and coke But now I've found that I'm okay to have a few drinks when I go out with my friends but I stick to vodka and water with a dash of lime. Sounds disgusting but when you add the lime (or lemon) you can hardly taste the vodka. The water helps keep you hydrated and prevents a morning hang over....I would also suggest lots of soluble fibre before your big night out!! Try eating lots of soluble fibre foods all day long and then the alcohol might not effect you as much. Whatever you do...you're taking a chance....you just have to decide if it's worth chancing or if you'd rather play it safe.
Good luck!!
