I found this message board by accident, but I'm really glad about that, 'coz I'm also a IBS ( mostly C) sufferer. My biggest problems are bloating and gas . I take some medicines available here in Poland (primarily stuff with dimethicone) and it helps a little. However, I have to avoid a whole bunch of foods I bloat immediately after dinner - it doesn't matter what I eat Besides, I can't wear tight clothes (the tummy does stick out;) I consider myself a fairly cheerful person, but sometimes I feel so depressed because of my condition that I'm not able to imagine myself living like that anymore.
