Lipoma       02/02/04 12:14 PM Edit Reply Quote michele Reged: 06/02/03 Posts: 6886 Loc: southeastern michigan So my DR just called with the results of my cat scan and said they found a lipoma in my small bowel?! My DR said she didn't know much about it and referred me to a speacialist that I can't see until March 1! She said a Lipoma is a fatty tumor that isn't cancer but is rare in the digestive tract. I did some research on line and it says they are usually not symptomatic but that they can cause PAIN, BLOATING AND CONSTIPATION!! My three biggest complaints! So do I not have IBS and are my problems caused by this Lipoma or is it just no big deal and not to worry, my DR couldn't say!
