Well, as for the yoga, there are many poses that stimulate the intestines to start moving. That's my problem--things are not moving fast enough, or not at all, and then lots of gas and bloating. I frequently feel worse after eating. Certain poses involve twisting of the torso and breathing that ujjayi breath (prayer twist, Marichiasanas A,B,C, and D, etc) to detox one's system and get the gas pushed out of there. It really helps. Last night was AWFUL, and I was grumpy because I felt and looked pregnant, I had so much gas and bloat, and I hadn't gone since that morning. Once I did my 75-minute ashtanga practice, I felt so much better and my stomach was flat again! Sometimes it is all I can do. I feel bad for my hubby! (putting up with my gassy self--ha ha)
