my daughter's doctor now has her booked for a motility study where she swallows markers and has her bowel xrayed for 4 days. Also booked for an anal rectal manometry where the pressure and sensation in the rectum is measured. possible that this is part of her problem. has anyone heard of these tests or had them done on them? curious to know if lack of function in the rectum is part of IBS-C or something different.
