Oh, I recently started taking Effexor (antidepressant), been a little over two weeks now. I was also suggested an antispasomadic, however if that has constipating effects, I don't think it would go well with the Effexor. Being already a C, I didn't realize it would make me even worse. However, I must say, it has helped so far tremendously with my mood, thus reducing stress and attacks!
I was having a hard time there for a while, but I guess it does take time for your efforts to work with constipation. I have been doing MUCH better the past 3 days, I can actually go on my own now  (without using suppositories/laxatives), so I am very happy. I feel like my body is getting used to the change now. However I had to really increase my fibre intake and water intake by alot.
