Danielle: You've come to the right place. I am also on a gluten free diet and have IBS. Actually there are several of us. First of all, check out breaking the cycle at: Breaking the Cycle it will help you break out of the vicious cycle you're in. Then, learn and follow the diet (within your own limits) and you will start feeling better and gain some weight back. I had everyone accusing me of being anorexic because I had lost so much weight, it was more of a matter of being afraid to eat. Heather's program will teach you which foods are safe, which are not. You cannot binge though, this is an every day diet that you will learn to live by. I eat a lot of roasted chicken, rice dishes, grilled fish, grilled chicken, cooked vegetables, some canned fruit and low fat crackers. Each of us are different though, you'll have to learn your own trigger foods to stay away from. I can't tolerate a food additive for thickening, guar gum, maybe you can (these are the little things you will learn about your own digestive system). We all learn to read labels here and follow the diet. Ask if you have any questions, there are always people here to answer.
