Re: Lexapro       01/26/04 07:37 AM Edit Reply Quote hde Reged: 10/01/03 Posts: 28 I take Lexapro for depression and to my knowledge it does not interfere in any way with birth control pills. I actually didn't even know Lexapro was prescribed for IBS. Unfortunately, it has not seemed to help the IBS situation at all so far (I've been taking it for a few months after taking various other antidepressants for the past 10 years).
