Dr appt went well       03/24/03 03:35 PM Edit Reply Quote H2 Reged: 02/28/03 Posts: 161 Loc: Ohio Today was my first dr appointment since I learned about IBS and found these boards... I was just dreading it. I absolutely love my doctor, but was afraid to bring up IBS because he would think I am some hypochondriac that is intent on diagnosing myself with anything I read about on the internet. As it turns out, my fears were unfounded. When I described my symptoms, he told me it sounded like IBS, but that I should really have some tests done to make sure. He also gave me Zelnorm for the time being. I schedule my appointment with the allergist to test for food allergies tomorrow.
