That's great that she's getting this under control. I know exactly what she was going through! During my freshmen year (last year), I was going through the same thing, except neither my parents nor I knew what was wrong. It was horrible, especially because I was so far away.

I agree that water and fiber supplements do wonders for the system, but it seems as though the water just runs right through me and I still have "C".

I feel the worst part about having this in college is on top of the stress (which triggers IBS), you hang out with your friends and have to worry about how you are going to feel-- if there will only be "trigger" foods to eat when you go out or hang out together. It's hard for others to understand how you feel when you have this...

If your daughter ever has any questions about anything... I've been there. I even made it safely through spring break last year (granted I lost like 7 lbs!).
