Good fat or not it is still high fat. As much as I LOVE, and I mean really LOVE avacados I can never eat them again, EVER. You see, it was eating an avacado that gave me the gall bladder attack that then called for surgery. I didn't eat avacados for 9 years...then started back............heaven as far as I was concerned...........but wait............here is the kicker.............it wasn't long after starting to eat them again did this IBS come a calling....so you see the association I have.... You will be happy to know this little bit of trivia Bev....the word avacado is derived from an (old) Spanish word meaning testicles. When they were first discovered they thought they looked like them....remember, the native grown ones were much smaller than the ones grown today, and size wise and shape wise that was pretty accurate an analogy to the male human anatomy.....
