Hello Candy -

Having had this done several times myself in the past, the only thing I noticed was just more urination from the IV, but no cramps, etc. It could be that the things you took for the procedure resulted in these symptoms, but most likely, I would think it would last for only for a day, two at the most. But this may have triggered the IBS response, making it continue as long as it has. I would say you need to consult with your doctor/nurse about these symptoms to see if there is a correlation, but just from what you mention, the end of July to now is ample time to recover from the procedure. Either there is something else going on, or this made your IBS go into overdrive.

In the meantime, consider acacia fiber, or calcium to firm up stools, consider peppermint or fennel tea to calm things down a bit.

Hopefully all will get better soon... all the best to you.
