Re: IBS Flare After Ovulation?       11/19/12 06:48 PM Edit Reply Quote seashell Reged: 05/22/09 Posts: 25 Loc: CA, USA It's a bummer that this was not answered a while back but I can say that after keeping a symptom and to lesser degree a food diary, I can see that around day 14, I get strong left side pains and IBS C symptoms for about 10-12 days. Then when most people have PMS, my IBS goes away. It's so frustrating to try and tease apart food causes, hormone causes, stress, sitting all day (that can't be good). Most likely it's a combination of all the above. Your pain seems quite extreme and don't you hate it when docs just take wild guesses. Nice.
