I had constant abdominal pressure - originally from a prolapsed uterus (removed) then that surgery was botched and ended up with ovaries removed. I still had the pressure even after these two surgeries (in fact, worse after.) If you have been checked out by your OB/physician, it could be a combination - perhaps - of abdominal adhesions, which is difficult to treat the pain from this. I too have constant pressure feelings - some of it is also could be from visceral hypersensitivity, which is prevalent in IBS, and certainly anything connected in that region.
I was on various meds over the years, which did not help. I use the chronic pain program of guided imagery, (from Michael Mahoney, same fellow who does the IBS hypno) I use specifically, the Light Count session, (19 minutes long)and this has greatly helped my pelvic pressure and pain better than drugs most of the time. By the end of the session, I am usually pain free. If you want info, let me know.
