Doctors!       01/12/04 03:43 AM Edit Reply Quote Claire Reged: 01/27/03 Posts: 65 Loc: Paris, France I had IBS diagnosed when I was last in Australia in 1999. I've seen tons of doctors and specialists, had every test you can imagine in Paris where I live and the end result...it's all in my head and I was sent away with some anti-depressants. The French don't seem to have heard of IBS so I have had very little support in all the time I've been there (since 1998). I too am convinced it's stress/hormone related and the result of this I believe leaves the bowel open to breed parasites, fungi and I do think there is something to be said for the 'Leaky Gut Syndrome'.
