I was in the hospital with an attack, before I knew I suffered with IBS, and was too nauseous to do prep so they gave me 2 Dulcolax tablets the day before and one enema that night and one the morning of. Not a picnic by any means but I had the prep for another colonoscopy and it was hell. The Dulcolax was a breeze by comparison. I feel for you and hope you can talk your doc into this.
