Although I am not underweight, I do have a food phobia because of the fear of how it will make me feel and in turn I suffer from anxiety attacks when my stomach is out of line. I do manage to eat though. Mostly I will not eat until around lunch time as I seem to have a cycle. I get up and feel ok but not enough to eat. Then I start feeling like something is wrong and get a little anxious. I eventually realize my stomach is spasming and then I have D. Eventually after some time my tummy will go back to normal and I feel ok again. Then I can eat.

By then its usually lunch time. Obviously you are eating but suffering from the vitamin deficiency. I have issues taking vitamins as they seem to make my tummy upset but if you can take them that would be excellent. Maybe you can also try mixing some of the nutritional stuff into the other. You have to take baby steps to get back to the right way if you have been a long time without. One of the only things I can tolerate as far as a green vegetable is green beans cooked down really soft. Sometimes this has been a lifesaver. If you are eating potatoes, mashed, maybe you can cook your carrots down and mix a small portion into the potatoes. You may could do this with green beans too. I wonder if organic baby food would be an option at least to get some nutrition going. I also get myself out in the sunshine as much as possible and I try to keep moving throughout the day. I know my digestion is much better when I just move around the house or out in the garden. I especially move around after I eat.....not high intensity but just strolling about as it seems to help my digestion. I am so sorry you are feeling bad but hang in there. And YAY for the gaining of 6 lbs.
