I haven't come across many others with these same symptoms. Glad to hear you have figured it out. I hope I can as well. I am going to the gastro this morning to follow up. Prilosec has not helped me thus far so I will ask about Zegerid. I was also given triple therapy for H Pylori eradication and have to re-test. GERD is usually caused by TOO MUCH acid, as opposed to not enough acid...is that a true statement? I don't know much about it yet...

I am beginning to wonder about my IBS diagnosis. I have had a myriad of tests (including colonoscopy which I had to fight for because I'm 43) but to be honest, I don't have stomach cramping and toilet issues like many others here...yet the doc says he still thinks I have IBS. ????
I have been proceeding as if I do...no harm in following the diet and other advice to see if it helps.
