Because your main symptom is nausea, I would double check with your gastro to make sure you don't have gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying). You can have this in conjunction with IBS, or not. It's easy to diagnose, you just go for a gastric emptying scan where you eat eggs or oatmeal and they take x-rays as you digest. If you do have delayed emptying, the number one way to help is to eat very small meals frequently (never let yourself get too full).
Ginger is also very helpful for nausea, I myself love ginger chews (Reed's or The Ginger people make good ones) and eat them all day haha, and ginger tea is good too. You might also want to ask your doctor about anti-emetics (anti-nausea meds). Zofran is pretty benign in terms of side effects, it doesn't knock you out like a lot of the others do.
-------------------- IBS A (more D than C). Severe GERD & Hiatal Hernia as well.
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
