If you have diverticulosis, you want to be sure to not exacerbate it to whatever extent possible. I also wanted to say that I have had both IBS and diverticulosis/diverticulitis for several decades, and diverticulitis is what led to my two colectomies, since diverticulitis can lead to peritonitis and/or serious absesses for which surgery may become a requirement, which was my case. -------------------- Clint Stevens IBS-C; 2 colectomies from diverticulitis; Barrett's esophagitis/GERD Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
