IBS?       12/21/11 11:35 AM Edit Reply Quote weo Reged: 12/09/11 Posts: 9 I am confused and would welcome any help I can get. I was diagnosed with IBS about 2 yrs ago. However, after trying all sorts of solutions I still am hurting. I have just discovered this web site and have read the books offered. In short not much seems to work for me. I have been through all the tests one can imagine and ...nothing. The books have been helpful for a proper education, however I did notice a couple of unusual things. First, I am Male. Not too many males in the bunch. Second this problem showed up after age 50. Finnally Heather lists Divertiulosis as a thing that should be ruled out. I have this condition, but all MDs said this in itself is not a problem and would not cause pain. Why is this included in the list of things that must be ruled out? Any thoughhts? Thanks.
