In Heather's books I have read that French or Sourdough bread is the best for our IBS issues. What I am trying to figure out though is if and/or what is the difference between French and Italian bread. I have read where you can go to Subway and get an acceptable sandwich on their white (Italian) bread. So, I am trying to find the difference because in the grocery store I cannot find sliced french bread, only soft rolls. I am wondering if Italian bread is safe?
