Help with balancing D and C and expanding diet

Hello! Until recently, I would have considered myself IBS-D. However, a recent change in medication is now giving me C. I realize that people with C eat a bit differently than those with D. However, while I am now experiencing C about 3 times a month, I am still having loose/frequent bowel movements on the other days. Therefore, adding in more IF and fat to help C would cause me to have attacks on the days when I don't have it. Anyone have advice/experience with this?

I also know I don't eat enough IF or protein, any ideas how to include more without making D or C worse? Here's a bit of info on my diet to hopefully help:

I can't tolerate any raw fruits or vegetables except bananas. Beans and nuts don't seem to agree with me either. White rice is great for D but I find it can constipate me.

The foods I eat frequently/tolerate every day are: oatmeal (quick oats), sweet potatoes, cooked butternut/acorn squash, cooked mushrooms, cooked carrots, banana baby food, frozen mangoes, applesauce, puffed rice, brown rice protein powder, homemade low fat/fat free quick breads with quinoa flour or oat flour, quinoa pasta, homemade broth, plus small amounts of olive oil or earth balance spread.

On good days I add in egg whites, turkey, fish, cooked spinach, peas, and frozen blueberries. Unfortunately those days are not as frequent as I'd like. I could easily go weeks without IF or protein (sometimes I'm timid to add it because it often doesn't agree with me).

Thank you so much for any advice!
