After reading an online article that appeared to be based on some research for dietary fructose intolerance, I was wondering if pistachios are any different than other nuts as it relates to fructose malabsorption and IBS. The article states that all nuts should be avoided, except pistachios. The web site looked unreliable, and the information was old, so I figured I would bring my question to this board.

-Are pistachios safer than other nuts for fructose malabsorption?

-Are pistachios any safer for any reason that I cannot think of when it comes to IBS?

The link to the article:
Fructose Intolerance Diet

Note: I know the article discusses fructose intolerance, and not fructose malabsorption, but in my never ending search for more foods to eat, I was hopeful that pistachios could be added to my diet Any other comments on the article's food items as it relates to fructose malabsorption?
