Metamucil Question       06/13/11 07:25 AM Edit Reply Quote KareBear Reged: 05/30/11 Posts: 26 Loc: Arizona I will first admit that the idea of taking Metamucil or something like freaks me out. I am diarrhea prone and just to see the word laxative makes me uncomfortable, but I did read in the book not to worry about it. However, I also have a terrible gag reflex and in the past when a doctor has made me take something like this I just couldn't get it down. So, my question is; would taking the Metamucil that comes in the small capsules work as well? I have seen them at Walmart and Target. For me to swallow a pill I can handle over drinking a mixture.
