there is an excellent book that follows the paleo diet. i am practically vegan, so obviously i don't utilize many of the recipes, and it is certainly a very different diet than heather's. but you should look it over!

what i find invaluable in this book is the sprouting/fermenting/soaking of nuts/seeds/grains, which makes them much more digestible. i can eat many things this way and find that it doesn't bother me at all. i regularly make the porridge with a little homemade nutmilk and it actually makes me feel quite good. of course it is all very personal...
