Over a year ago I went to an allergist to test for food allergens and it turns out some of my environmental ones were off the charts! Apparently my grass allergy was one of the worst they've seen. My doc suspected that b/c that allergy was pretty severe, it could be causing drainage leading to my GI symptoms. She put me on allegra...I gave it a few months, but nothing changed. I stopped the allegra and felt well for a few months. I'm back to being in a rough patch now, but highly doubt it was the allergies causing my belly troubles.
