charcoal tablets causing constipation?       04/07/11 06:24 PM Edit Reply Quote renee21 Reged: 06/02/05 Posts: 486 Loc: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hi, I've been trying charcoal tablets for gas. I can't really say I've noticed it helped much, but I've been more C this week and I'm wondering if they are the culprit. When I google them I see the side effects can be either C or D, so I'm just wondering which is the more likely effect, and what other people's experiences have been with them. -------------------- IBS-C, lots of spasm and trapped gas.
